Our final recording of RII featured a first for us – a string quartet! Violinist Inés Voglar, violinist Keiko Araki, violist Hillary Oseas, and cellist Nancy Ives worked with Composer in Residence Keyla Orozco to capture the magic of her composition, Souvenirs. Made up of nine miniatures, Souvenirs tells the stories of places Keyla has lived or visited: Amsterdam, Washington DC, Caracas, and more.
